About Nana’s Quest

Craft has always had a story.

Nana’s Quest is a handmade marketplace rooted in tradition, family, creativity, and the quiet magic of making something with your own two hands.

A marketplace rooted in tradition and craftsmanship.

At Nana’s Quest, every stitch, bead, brushstroke, woven thread, and handmade detail carries a little piece of someone’s story.

We are more than a marketplace. We are a warm, welcoming home for artisans, crafters, makers, collectors, and people who believe handmade things still matter.

Nana’s Quest celebrates creativity across generations — preserving old skills, encouraging new ones, and helping makers share their work with people who truly value it.

How my quest began

It started at the market, in the heat, surrounded by handmade treasures.

Nana’s Quest was inspired by my childhood memories of crafting with my Nana and Mum — learning, watching, helping, and slowly understanding that craft is never just about the finished piece.

One hot Australian summer at the Northam Market, I watched my Nana proudly display her handmade treasures. Every piece felt like it carried her time, patience, care, and love.

Through my Nana and Mum’s passion for sewing, weaving, mosaicking, and making, I learnt that crafting is storytelling. It is tradition. It is connection. It is a way of keeping hands, hearts, and memories busy in the best possible way.

Nana’s Quest is my way of honouring those incredible women, my creative family, and every artisan who keeps the art of handmade alive.
