1. Introduction

Nana’s Quest is an online marketplace that connects artisans and buyers to celebrate handmade goods. These terms apply to all users, including buyers, vendors, and visitors.

2. Account Registration

For Buyers:

  • Buyers must create an account to make purchases.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and preventing unauthorized access.

For Vendors:

  • Vendors must register and agree to our Vendor Agreement before listing products.
  • Vendor accounts require approval.
  • Vendors must comply with Australian Consumer Law, including providing accurate product descriptions.

3. Fee Structure Introductory Offer (January – March 2025):

  • Listing Fee: Free (normally $0.20 AUD per item)
  • Transaction Fee: 2.5% of the sale price (normally 5%)
  • Payment Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.30 AUD per transaction

Example: For a $50 AUD item:

  • Transaction Fee: $1.25 AUD
  • Payment Processing Fee: $1.75 AUD
  • Net Payout: $47.00 AUD

This offer is valid until March 31, 2025. Standard fees apply from April 1, 2025.

Standard Fee Structure (Effective April 2025):

  • Listing Fee: $0.20 AUD per item (active for 4 months)
  • Transaction Fee: 5% of the sale price
  • Payment Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.30 AUD per transaction
  • Optional: Advertising and international currency conversion fees may apply.

4. Orders and Shipping

  • Buyers must provide accurate shipping details.
  • Vendors are responsible for setting shipping fees, clearly displaying shipping options, and timely fulfillment.
  • Buyers should confirm their order details before checkout.

5. Refunds and Returns

Nana’s Quest operates under Australian Consumer Law. All users must follow the Refund and Return Policy, ensuring fair practices for refunds and exchanges.

6. Prohibited Activities

Nana’s Quest prohibits the following:

  • Listing counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products.
  • Engaging in spam, abusive, or vulgar behavior, including discriminatory or hateful language.
  • Misrepresentation of products or intellectual property violations.
  • Any actions deemed illegal under Australian law.

Account Termination: Accounts engaging in spam, vulgar behavior, or policy violations will be suspended or permanently closed.

7. Intellectual Property

Content on Nana’s Quest, including logos, text, and images, is owned by Nana’s Quest or its licensors. Users may not reproduce or distribute this content without explicit permission.

8. Privacy Policy

We adhere to the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and details about our data collection, storage, and use are outlined in the Privacy Policy. Users can request access to or deletion of their data as per the policy.

9. Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • Nana’s Quest is not liable for disputes between buyers and vendors. These must be resolved independently under the guidance of our Refund Policy.
  • Nana’s Quest is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the platform’s use.

10. Changes to Terms

Nana’s Quest reserves the right to update these terms. Users will be notified of changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of updates.
